The best bridge apps in 2026
BridgeTricks is our own product. Every other app is described from its own site and store listing, checked on 18 October 2026.
Bridge apps do very different jobs. Some seat you at a table with people from around the world, some deal you hands to play against robots at any hour, and others teach the game or train a single skill such as bidding or opening leads. The right choice depends on how you like to play, how much you already know and how much you want to spend.

Bridge Base Online (BBO)
BBO is the largest online bridge club. You can play with friends, with strangers or with its GIBBO robots, enter ACBL and other masterpoint games, and watch top events live on Vugraph for free. It also has Bridge Master, a set of declarer problems by Fred Gitelman, and online convention cards for partnerships.
Since August 2026 a free account gets 6 deals a day on the free games, with ads. Premium costs $5.99 a month the first year, then $9.99, and adds unlimited deals, free robots at social and practice tables, and video chat. Paid tournaments and ACBL games are paid in BB$ on any plan. The App Store rating is 4.5 from about 2,200 ratings, and Google Play shows 4.3 from about 4,000 reviews.
Funbridge
On Funbridge you play South and the Argine robot takes the other three seats. Every deal is scored against all the players who played it, in daily and league tournaments, and some of them count for federation masterpoints. After each deal it shows your mistakes and lets you replay, and there is a library of more than 600 commented deals. Funbridge and BBO announced a merger in 2018 and are now in the same group, as separate apps.
The free plan is 2 deals a day and 1 commented deal a week. Premium is $15.99 a month on the web, and the App Store lists it at $17.99. It is rated 4.6 from about 14,000 ratings on the App Store and 4.2 from about 12,400 reviews on Google Play.
Bridge by NeuralPlay
NeuralPlay is a solo game against robots that works offline. It plays SAYC, 2/1, Acol and Precision with conventions you can change, and has a bidding practice mode, hints, an explanation of any bid you tap, matchpoint and rubber scoring, and a double dummy solver that compares your play with the best play.
The whole game is free with ads, and removing them costs $12.99 on iOS. There is no play with other people and no tournaments. It has 4.6 from about 7,000 ratings on the App Store and 4.4 from about 21,400 reviews and more than a million installs on Google Play.
IntoBridge
IntoBridge lets you play casual tables, pairs games and team matches with friends or with its robot, Lia, free and without a limit. Ranked games and the daily challenges use a bank of boards that starts at 99 and is topped back up to 25 each Monday when it falls below that. There are also free weekly learning duplicates with Gavin Wolpert and Larry Cohen.
The website has no pricing page. In the App Store, Supporter is listed at $14.99 or $129.99 a year, and there are other tiers whose contents are not published. Judging by the store numbers, it has far fewer players than BBO. It is rated 4.9 from 125 ratings on the App Store and 4.3 from 160 reviews on Google Play.
Tricky Bridge
Tricky Bridge teaches bridge from zero through 57 lessons and challenges told as a story, with robot characters as guides. After that you can play unlimited practice deals with robot partners and a hint button, and enter duplicate tournaments against the robots, with leaderboards. There is no play with other people.
Lessons and practice are free, with no pop-up ads. Packs of deals are sold in the app, 50 for $3.99 or unlimited for $9.99 a month, and the listing does not say exactly which deals they are for. Its ratings are among the highest here, 4.9 from about 4,500 ratings on the App Store and 4.7 from about 6,800 reviews on Google Play.
BridgeTricks
BridgeTricks is our own product, and it trains one decision at a time. In the Lead Trainer every opening lead is graded over 4,000 double dummy layouts that fit the auction, at IMPs and matchpoints, and the Suit Trainer grades how you play a single suit, card by card, against the best line. You can write your bidding system in the Bidding Architect, drill it with flashcards, and learn the game in a free course of 26 lessons.
It has no table play with people or robots and no full-deal tournaments, so most players use it next to a playing app. The daily sets, duels, lessons and the double dummy solver are free. Pro costs $7 a month and Master $12 a month. It runs in any browser on a computer or phone, and its iOS and Android apps have the double dummy solver.
Cuebids
Cuebids is for bidding only. You and your partner bid the same deals whenever each of you has time, and every board is rated against a double dummy simulation. A Leak Finder shows where your partnership goes wrong, and you can bid the Daily and Weekly deals and compare with professionals. Robot partners play 2/1, SAYC, Acol and other systems.
Bidding with a human partner is free and unlimited, and robots and events use tickets, 48 of them free each month. Paid supporter tiers are sold in the app, and the website shows no prices. It is rated 4.9 from 225 ratings on the App Store and 4.8 from 308 reviews on Google Play.
Trickster Bridge
Trickster is a card game app with bridge among other games. It is made for casual play with friends or strangers, with private games, house rules, voice and video chat. There are no bridge training tools and no masterpoint tournaments.
It is free with ads, and VIP costs $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year. The Trickster Cards app is rated 4.5 from about 2,300 ratings on the App Store.
RealBridge
RealBridge runs in the browser, with video and audio at the table, and clubs, federations and international events use it to hold games online that feel close to face to face. It also hosts ACBL club games and supervised play. There are no robots and no solo practice, so you need an organized game to join.
Players pay whatever their club charges. The club pays RealBridge between $0.41 and $0.96 per player per session, depending on the number of boards.
Bridge Baron
Bridge Baron is a solo app with robot opponents you can adjust, practice with all cards face up, bidding hints, and famous tournament deals you can replay and compare with the professionals. It has no play with other people.
The app is a free download, and the App Store lists a subscription at $7.90 a month. It is rated 4.5 from about 1,800 ratings on the App Store and 4.1 from 37 reviews on Google Play.
Audrey Grant's Better Bridge
This app brings Audrey Grant's teaching to the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. It has an interactive daily column with deals to bid and play, bidding quizzes, and courses whose hands you play against the computer.
The download and an introductory lesson are free. The daily column costs $9.99 for 30 days, and courses are sold one by one, such as Bridge Basics 1 for $34.99. It is rated 4.7 from about 6,400 ratings on the App Store and 2.7 from 22 reviews on Google Play.
