Funbridge alternatives in 2026
BridgeTricks is our own product. Every other app is described from its own site and store listing, checked on 18 October 2026.
Funbridge suits players who like to sit South with a robot partner and see how their score compares with others who played the same cards. Plenty of other apps cover the same ground in their own way. Some give more free deals, some work without an internet connection, some teach beginners, and some leave whole deals aside to train one skill at a time.

BBO
Bridge Base Online is the biggest online bridge club, with real people and robots at all hours. The robots now run GIBBO, a neural network version of GIB. Free members get 6 deals a day in eligible free games, three times what Funbridge gives, and Vugraph is unlimited on every plan, with Bridge Master open to free members. ACBL games, paid tournaments and BBO points events are paid in BB$ on every plan.
BBO and GOTO Games, the maker of Funbridge, announced their merger in a 2018 press release and are now one group with separate brands, so moving to BBO keeps you in the same group. Premium costs $5.99 a month in the first year and $9.99 a month after that, and No Ads costs $3.99 a month.
IntoBridge
On IntoBridge, casual tables, pairs games and team matches are free without a limit, with friends or the Lia robot, and Just Play fills the other three seats with robots. Ranked games and the daily challenges use a bank of boards, 99 at the start and topped back up to 25 each Monday when it falls below that. There are free weekly learning games with Gavin Wolpert and Larry Cohen.
The site has no pricing page, and the App Store lists the Supporter plan at $129.99 a year. Its community is smaller than BBO's or Funbridge's, judging by the number of store ratings.
Bridge by NeuralPlay
NeuralPlay plays offline on iOS and Android against robots in SAYC, 2/1, Acol or Precision, with conventions you can change. A bidding practice mode lets you bid hands without playing them, and a double dummy solver shows how your play compares with the best line. Matchpoints, rubber, Chicago and team scoring are all there.
There are no other people and no tournaments, so you lose Funbridge's comparison with the field. It is free with ads, and removing them costs $12.99 on iOS.
Tricky Bridge
Tricky Bridge teaches the game through a story of 57 lessons and challenges led by robot characters, then lets you practice with robot partners and a hint button. Quick, Daily and Knockout tournaments against robots have leaderboards by skill level. The lessons and practice are free, with no pop-up ads.
It is aimed at beginners, has no play with other people, and its last store update was in 2025. In the App Store, 50 deals cost $3.99 and unlimited deals $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.
BridgeTricks
BridgeTricks is for training, and it has no table play with people or robots and no full-deal tournaments. It works on one decision at a time and checks it with a solver. The Lead Trainer grades every opening lead over 4,000 layouts at IMPs and matchpoints, something Funbridge has no mode for, and the Suit Trainer grades suit combinations against the exact chances of every line. Daily sets and duels are free for everyone.
You can also write your bidding system in the Bidding Architect and drill it with flashcards, play out any deal in the free double dummy solver, and read free guides and lessons. It runs in any browser, and its iOS and Android apps have the double dummy solver. Pro costs $7 a month or $60 a year, and Master $12 a month or $99 a year.
Bridge Baron
Bridge Baron lets you set the strength of the robot opponents, replay famous tournament deals and compare with the pros, and practice with all cards face up. It offers bidding hints and conventions at three levels.
There is no play with other people. The app is free to download, and the store listing shows a subscription at $7.90 a month.
Cuebids
Cuebids is only about bidding, which Funbridge has no separate drill for. You and your partner bid the same deals whenever each of you is free, and every board is rated from zero to three stars with double dummy simulations. Robot partners play several systems, among them 2/1, SAYC and Acol.
There is no card play. Bidding with a human partner is free and unlimited, with 48 tickets a month for robot partners and events. The App Store lists Supporter plans from $5.99.
Trickster
Trickster is a card games app where bridge sits next to spades and hearts. You can play live with others or set up a private game for friends with voice and video, and robots take any empty seats. It is free with ads, and VIP costs $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
It has no bridge training tools and no masterpoint tournaments, and some App Store reviewers complain about the robots.
